What We Believe
Our faith is rooted in the historic Christian tradition. These are the foundational truths that anchor everything we do as a church.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God — the supreme authority for faith and practice. It is God's complete revelation of Himself to humanity and the foundation upon which we build our lives.
God
We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, sovereign over history, and intimately involved in the lives of His people.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the atoning sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of the Father.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, indwells and empowers them for holy living and effective witness, and distributes spiritual gifts to the Church.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It cannot be earned by human effort. Every person who repents of sin and trusts in Jesus Christ is forgiven and receives eternal life.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ — both universal and local. The local church is a community of baptized believers committed to worship, discipleship, fellowship, and mission.
Baptism & Communion
We practice believer's baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. We celebrate communion regularly as a remembrance of Christ's sacrifice and a proclamation of His return.
Eternity
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people — those who trust in Christ to eternal life with God, and those who reject Him to eternal separation from God. We long and labor for the return of Jesus Christ.
