Baptism
A public declaration of a private decision
Baptism is one of the most significant moments in the life of a follower of Jesus. It's not what saves you — salvation comes through faith in Christ alone — but it is the public act of declaring that faith to the world.
What Is Baptism?
Baptism is a symbolic act that represents the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. When you go under the water, it pictures your old life of sin dying. When you come up, it pictures new life in Christ. It's not a ritual to earn favor — it's a celebration of what God has already done.
Who Should Be Baptized?
We practice believer's baptism — meaning baptism is for those who have made a personal decision to follow Jesus. If you have trusted in Christ as your Savior and Lord and haven't been baptized, we'd love to walk that step with you.
